I like looking at trends, of course, but as a 45 year old woman I don't really let those trends define my personal style, but rather just sway my taste a bit for the season to keep myself relevant and updated.

When I do fashion-shopping, I usually look for specific pieces that I have previously discovered in my favorite social platforms or that come to me through tailored online ads — such as Coach. For example, I follow Olivia Palermo and I love her classic and elegant taste that includes combat boots most of the times. I love Paola Alberdi's style and her fresh looks. I do read Paola's Blank Itinerary blog and some of her recommendations actually suit my taste and style, therefore, I take them into consideration. Ultimately, this is what an influencer does, right? I like peeping at trends, of course, but as a 45 year old woman I don't really let those trends define my personal style, but rather just sway my taste a bit for the season to keep myself relevant and updated.
