Let's take a look at the Spring 2020 Zara collection at the same time that we learn more about #Quadramorous and its purpose to inspire you to feel beautifully comfortable and confident.
Welcome to my very first haul video. Here I am showing some Spring pieces from Zara that could easily fit well into the Summer season. Take these as inspiration to either buy, thrift, or create similar outfits from your closet.
“This is what makes ME feel good, but of course, each of us has an individual voice, mindset, and outlook, that speaks to us.”
In case you are not familiar with the expression "haul video," this is basically a recording in which I will be sharing my experience unboxing some items I recently purchased at #Zara and going into detail on each piece. I'll share feedback about the quality, the expectation, outfit ideas, and the price.
This haul video has one sole purpose, and that is to help you feel great in these times of #COVID19. I personally seek to feel great about myself while #stayingathome #stayglamwhilestayingathome. I choose to feel relaxed but at the same time, dress up in a comfortable way. My precious husband is #workingfrom home too, so this motivates me to want to get up and get outfitted for the day. I want him to see me differently from the moment I wake up to the time I go back to bed. Herewith, I mean that I don't want him to see me on my PJs all day. This is what makes ME feel good, but of course, each of us has an individual voice, mindset, and outlook that speaks to us.
Zara Gingham Top in Neon Green - $49.90 USD
This Zara neon green gingham top is available online right now. I really liked it because of its bright color. I have been told before that I mostly wear neutral colors and whenever I put on bright tones, I look lively. I take that feedback and try to take a risk on my usual taste. This top's fabric is very soft; the balloon sleeves come with a subtle ruffle, which I love. The only negative feature is that this pattern is not very easy to match with other designs and colors. However, I do recommend that if you are one of those personages who always chose to wear black, this top is for you! The ruffles, for example, it's one of my signature or trademark features. I always feel attracted to buy anything that includes ruffles or fringes.
What is your signature clothing feature?
In the picture below you can see me wearing this top with black flared denim jeans also from Zara, and camel wedges. I am also combing this green gingham top with gold accessories to make it look more stylish. Of course, you can wear your tops in any way that makes you feel more comfortable; I only recommend that you take two important things into account: 1) how you are planning to feel as you wear it, and 2) the occasion.
Zara Pareo Mini Skirt - $39.90 USD
This pareo mini skirt has a great fabric. It's fresh and voguish. I would classify it more as a summer-beachy outfit. It has three buttons and a nice front ribbon to secure that it's tightened up. The color is white with red stripes and it looks beautiful. I had to size up because the medium size was too short for me (I am 5'5 tall).
Zara Striped Poplin Top - $39.90 USD
In the images below I am matching the pareo mini skirt to a beautiful striped squared poplin top. I really like eclectic blends; mix + match. This top is color red with white thin stripes. The fabric is the same as the pareo mini skirt, and I like it very much. This cropped top has a modern yet unusual cut. It's like a squared balloon with elastic shoulder sleeves and an open-crossed back. It also includes an elastic/ribbon waistband which accentuates your body shape gracefully.
Voluminous Textured Weave Dress - $69.90 USD
This gorgeous dress has given me a headache! I like it very much, but at the same time, I have been having double-thoughts about keeping it. I even requested a return label already. Let me tell you why. I decided to buy this dress at first because it seems like a fresh piece, very comfortable, relaxed, and it portrays an effortlessly cute look. However (big "however"), the fabric is textured and it seems like its maintenance is going to a pain — moreover because it's white.
I am hardly convincing myself to keep it but deep down I know I might regret it at some point. Additionally, this is a maxi-dress as you can tell. For someone like me who is 5'5" tall, it's way longer than the model wearing it on the website. I look shorter than I thought. But, on the other hand, the fabric is somewhat heavy and it weighs down beautifully, notably highlighting your body shape and making you look fit.
[If I keep it] I would wear it with sport sandals or sneakers, but never with high heels. I can only imagine my tiny ankles peeking out under the dress' fringe.
I'm not showing a "try on" photo of this dress because I decided to return it. There's nothing wrong with the item, and in fact, I still recommend it one hundred percent. It is just that I am predicting that the fabric will require a type of maintenance I am not willing to commit to.
Beaded Low Heeled Sport Sandals - $59.90 USD
Sport sandals are the best thing ever! This is my first pair and I just can't take them off. They are super comfortable and, in my opinion, they look nice. I am more of a delicate taste type of person; I genuinely like feminine "stuff" (like Andrea (Emily) from "The Devil Wears Prada" would say): I love small flowers, stars, hearts, etc. But I also love eclectic combinations. Therefore, this sandals are a must-have this Summer because they match with anything and everything.
I hope you find this information helpful! Let me know your thoughts, opinions, and ideas here! and please follow me in my social networks. See you soon, my quads!
