You may find yourself feeling left behind when you see the world progressing at an extremely accelerated pace as you remain stuck in your comfort zone.

Let's get in the mood; try playing this beautiful song by the Rush band while you read this post: Time Stand Still. Enjoy!

“Everything is designed to be able to function following a one-click touch.”

Let's reflect on the song "Time Stand Still" by Rush and how it perfectly displays a cry out to slow down and "freeze this moment a little bit longer." Truth is, is not going to happen; if anything, it'll go faster every day. There are very bright individuals out there trying to make our lives more practical and less complex. Everything is designed to be able to function following a one-click touch. We love it although sometimes these commodities may get a little pricey. Personally, I do try to the best of my abilities to test every new and existing relevant app, device, network, software, you name it. This allows me to feel great about myself, and most importantly, it opens communication with my 21-year-young son and my millennial co-workers.

TikTok is the most relevant platform nowadays. It grew its fan base by almost 50% within two years. Everyone was talking about it and as curious as I am, I had to take the plunge. The first weeks were a little hard to understand — not the application per se, but the atmosphere. At first, I thought I was immersing myself in a dark teenage world including cruel comments like on Reddit. But later on, I was surprised by how friendly and talented people are on this network — at least on my feed and my comments.

5 Extremely Valuable Things I Found on TikTok

“I realized this was the spare time I was continually waiting to create and launch new projects, learn new things, download new apps, and just generally expand my knowledge.”

During this 2020 quarantine, I lost my job like many others on the planet. I realized this was the spare time I was continually waiting to create and launch new projects, learn new things, download new apps, and just generally expand my knowledge. This is when I came across to TikTok. Honestly, it was a lifesaver for me.

Here I am sharing my top 5 most amazing things I have found on TikTok:

1. TikTok has made everyone get up and dance

2. TikTok is bringing families together

3. And bringing generations together

4. TikTok allows strangers to pray for you and with you

5. TikTok is driving people see the world through more creative [positive] eyes.

On top of these examples, I found TikTok to be a breath of fresh air in terms of allowing its users to be raw and authentic. I see people from Instagram joining this network and I can tell their outlook is way more relaxed. Furthermore, I've seen numerous videos from successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurs providing feedback and advice on dos and don'ts of launching a small business. These views are what gave me so much hope. There are many individuals attempting new ventures just like I was and they are failing and starting over just like me. This is a very encouraging feeling. I was even able to learn about tools that I was unaware of and they have now become absolutely necessary for my side hustles.

Regardless of your individual needs, I strongly recommend you reinvent yourself explore this and as many new apps you learn about — moreover, if you are a #quadragenarian #GenX like me. And start getting ready for Facebook and YouTube are already working on Lasso and Shorts, respectively.
